Who we are

These terms are an agreement between you and Picly (“we”, “us”), which runs the Picly app and website at picly.app. Contact: support@picly.app.

Using the app

Picly helps you and the people you watch with pick a movie: you swipe on titles, start or join a movie night, and get a match with where to watch it. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old.
• Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• Pick a username and display name that aren't offensive, misleading or someone else's.

Be decent

• Don't spam invites or links, scrape the app, or try to break, overload or get around its limits.
• Don't use the app to harass anyone or for anything illegal.
• We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

Movie and streaming info

Titles, artwork and where-to-watch details come from the Streaming Availability API by Movie of the Night and from TMDB (The Movie Database). This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Catalogs and prices change often, so we can't promise the information is complete or current — check the service before you pay.

Service names and logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to identify them. We aren't affiliated with or endorsed by them.

Other services

When you leave the app for a streaming service or another site, that site's own terms and privacy policy apply.

Our service

We're improving the app all the time and may change or remove features. The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for problems caused by third-party services.

Ending things

You can stop using the app and delete your data any time from Profile & Settings, or ask us to delete your account by emailing support@picly.app. We may close accounts that break these terms.

Changes and law

If we change these terms we'll update the “Last updated” date above and tell you in the app for significant changes.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about these terms or the app will be heard only in the state or federal courts located in the State of Iowa, USA, and you and we agree to the jurisdiction of those courts, except where the law where you live gives you a right to bring a claim elsewhere.
